You'll almost certainly have come across one of its out-of-the-box club websites - which truthfully feel like internet 1.0 (hello 1999!). That said, they've done a brilliant job of getting clubs online, and we hear a big update to their site builder is coming.

The 2.3 Trustpilot rating (86% one-star reviews) reflects deeper issues though. Multiple reviews cite "horrible customer service" and support that "seems like an inconvenience for them to help you." When things go wrong, that matters.

We've used their platform in the past for managing basic player (and guardian) information, scheduling, and payments, which it does well. But parents, guardians, and coaches grumble about the added admin and the lack of anything beyond payment collection.

That is all reflected in the (slightly harsh, in our opinion) 2.9-star App Store rating - mostly due to frustrations around usability and bugs. A little clunky, but safe, reliable, and definitely committed to supporting grassroots football.

They're a passionate start-up team based in Holland that share our love of the game. It's not necessarily oriented around club management, but certainly one to watch.

As for the name? We guess that's a Dutch thing! Though we're not sure there's a lot of UK teams that will be comfortable saying "Have you updated Mingle this weekend?"
